Date and walnut cubes

Prep time: 10 minutes


  • 10-20 large pitted dates
  • your choice of a nut, in this recipe I have used walnuts 


  1. open the pitted dates lengthwise with hand and put in a small deep dish, layer with walnut pieces, repeat this step 3-4 times and put a saran wrap on top and put something heavy over it to make sure the layers stick together, leave it for a couple of hours.  Cut into cubes after the dates and serve with cheese platter, tea, coffee, or as an energy bite to go. Enjoy!
