Our Ingredients;
Date Fruit
The fruits of the date palm (Phoenix dactylifera L.), commonly referred to as “dates” contain incredible nutritional content and serve as the main ingredient for our products and recipes.
Dates are an excellent source of protein (2-6%). The protein found in dates contains 23 types of amino acids, making them a more valuable source of amino acids than many popular fruits such as apples, bananas, and oranges. The quality of the protein makes them a top ingredient for muscle development.
Dates are also an excellent source of vitamins and minerals. Dates contain essential minerals calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, and zinc. Additionally, vitamins such as vitamin A, vitamins B1 thiamine, B2riboflavin, vitamin C (small amounts), vitamin K, nicotinic acid (niacin), and folate are found in this delicious fruit.
Dates have a high percentage of dietary fiber (6-11%), which prevents LDL cholesterol absorption in the gut. Studies also have shown that high-fiber foods may have other heart-health benefits, such as reducing blood pressure and inflammation.
